SCALASOL® attaches a great deal of importance to the protection of your personal data. In this Privacy Policy, we want to provide clear and transparent information about how we handle personal data.

We do everything we can to safeguard your privacy and therefore treat personal data with care. SCALASOL® complies in all cases with the applicable legislation and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation. At the very least, this means that we:

Processing of personal data of customers or suppliers
Personal data of customers or suppliers are processed by SCALASOL® for the following purposes:

• Administrative purpose;
• Communication about the instruction and/or invitations
• Executing or issuing an instruction

The personal data is made available on the basis of:
• The agreed instruction

For the above purpose(s), SCALASOL® may request the following personal information from you:

• First name
• Prefix
• Surname
• Email address
• Postal code
• House number
• Addition
• Street
• Place
• Country

Your personal data will be stored by SCALASOL® for the purpose of the aforementioned processing(s) for the period:

• During the term of the agreement and afterwards only in the financial administration for a maximum of 7 years.

Processing of personal data of Newsletter subscribers
Personal data of Newsletter subscribers are processed by SCALASOL® for the following purpose(s):

• Informing the person by means of newsletters.

The personal data is made available on the basis of:
• The Newsletter subscription form

For the above purpose(s), SCALASOL® may request the following personal information from you:

• First name
• Prefix
• Surname
• Email address

Your personal data will be stored by SCALASOL® for the purpose of the aforementioned processing(s) for the period:

• During the period that you are registered as a subscriber.

Provision to third parties
We may forward the information you provide to us to third parties if this is necessary for the purposes described above.

We use the services of a third party for:

• The Internet environment of the AVG programme
• The (financial) administration
• The newsletters and invitations
• The processing & delivery of the mail items
• The online payments via the webshop
• The e-commerce system

We never forward personal data to other parties with whom we have not concluded a processing agreement. We will, of course, make the necessary agreements with these parties (processors) to guarantee the security of your personal data. Furthermore, we will not forward the information provided by you to other parties, unless required and permitted to do so by law, e.g., a police request for (personal) data as part of an investigation. In such a case we are obliged to cooperate and provide this information. We may also share personal data with third parties with your written permission.

Within the EU
We do not provide any personal data to parties established outside the EU.

Storage period
SCALASOL® does not store personal data for longer than is necessary for the purpose for which they were provided or are required by law.

Security
We have taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unlawful processing; for example, we have taken the following measures:

• All persons who can access your data on behalf of SCALASOL® are bound by a duty of confidentiality.
• We have a username and password policy on all our systems.
• We pseudonymise and encrypt personal data if there is reason to do so.
• We make backups of the personal data in order to be able to recover them in the event of physical or technical incidents.
• We regularly test and evaluate our measures.
• Our employees have been informed about the importance of the protection of personal data.

Rights concerning your data
You have the right to inspect, correct or delete the personal data we have received from you. You can also object to the processing of your personal data (or a part thereof) by us or by one of our processors. You also have the right to instruct us to transfer your personal data to yourself or directly to another party. We may ask you to identify yourself before we can respond to the above requests.

If we are allowed to process your personal data on the basis of your permission to do so, you are always entitled to withdraw this permission.

Our use of data collected online

Communication

This makes it possible to process your questions and answer your requests. The data is stored on KeyCover.nl's own secure servers or those of a third party. We will not combine this information with any other personal information in our possession.

Cookies
We collect data for research in order to gain a better understanding of our customers so that we can tailor our services to them. This website uses "cookies" (text files placed on your computer) to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website can be transferred to Scalasol's own secure servers or to those of a third party. We use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and Internet usage.
