SOUDAL® Silirub 2 Sealing Kit extends the life of exterior window films

SOUDAL® Silirub 2 is the most popular sealant for exterior window films. The kit provides extra protection against moisture and/or dirt that can end up under the window film through the edges. This significantly increases the lifespan of an exterior window film. You seal the edges of the window film under the special sealant. This prevents, among other things, corrosion formation due to moisture and loosening of the film due to weather conditions and/or dirt. The special sealant SOUDAL® Silirub 2 is transparent and therefore barely visible.

The use of sealant is particularly recommended for exterior 'horizontal' installation of window films (e.g. skylights, etc.). This is because moisture can easily accumulate in these situations and therefore end up under the film (capillary effect). This can result in weakening of the adhesive layer, resulting in possible loosening of the window film.

SOUDAL® Silirub 2 is suitable for outdoor use. The kit is UV-resistant and offers high performance over a wide temperature range. SOUDAL® Silirub 2 is easy to apply yourself using a standard sealant gun. One tube of SOUDAL® Silirub 2 contains 30 linear meters.
